Requirements:

  • 216 cp total
  • 66 cp of the Mathematical Sciences program with an Advanced major (which includes the Table A degree core units of study)
  • 6 additional cp of Science core units of study (excluding units listed as Table A degree core)
  • a minor (36 cp) or second major (48 cp) from Table A or Table S
  • 6 cp of Open Learning Environment units fromÌýTable O
  • for students enrolled in the Dalyell stream, a minimum of 12 credit points of Dalyell units of study as specified inÌýTable D
  • 72 cp of additional units to qualify for the award of theÌýMaster of Mathematical SciencesÌý¾±²Ô³¦±ô³Ü»å¾±²Ô²µ
    • No more than 24 cp of 3000-level electives, no more than 48 cp of 4000-level electives, no more than 12 cp of 5000-level electives and
    • At least 24 cp of research core project units
    • Electives from Table A, Table S, Table O or Table D where appropriate
