A University of Sydney research team invites adult victim-survivors of domestic and family violence (DFV) who have had any contact with the NSW criminal justice system since 1 July 2024 to share their experiences of the justice process.
Your voice matters
Sharing your experiences could help improve how the NSW justice system responds to victim-survivors of DFV.
This research aims to understand how justice processes in NSW can be improved to better support DFV victim-survivors. We are interested in finding out what works well and where there are gaps in justice services and processes. The research findings may contribute to policy, law and system reform that improves how the justice system responds to DFV victim-survivors with a diverse range of needs and experiences.
Reimbursement (via cash card) is available for participants who take part in an individual or group conversation or yarn with a member of the research team.
