*Edit:听听Following the release of the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026, the University of Melbourne provided further information regarding submitted Sustainability data.
QS re-ran its analysis and made a post publication correction of Melbourne鈥檚 Sustainability score and global rank. As a result, while the University of Sydney鈥檚 scores and global rank remain unchanged, Sydney鈥檚 domestic position shifted from 2nd to 3rd place due solely to the revised ordering of Australian institutions after Melbourne鈥檚 update.听
