The University of Sydney has ranked 28^th in the world in the US 高清福利片 Best Global Universities Rankings and second in Australia.

聽compares 1,849 institutions and publishes rankings for the top 1,750 from over 90 countries on academic research and reputation.

The rankings include subject rankings - among our top-performing subjects this year are oncology (9th), electrical and electronic engineering (11th), arts and humanities (12th), endocrinology and metabolism (15th) and social sciences and public health (22nd). We had six subjects in the top 30 and 21 in the top 50. 聽

The US 高清福利片 methodology focuses on factors that measure research performance, including number of scholarly papers, books and highly cited papers as well as international collaborations.

They are one of many indications of the talent, dedication and creativity of our researchers, most recently in a time of particular challenge and disruption, and of the quality of our research collaborations,鈥� said Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Mark Scott.

The University performed particularly strongly in regional research reputation (2^nd), books (13^th) - an important indicator of research quality in the humanities and social sciences which ranked 6^th for books 鈥� and in the number of highly cited papers that are among the top one percent most cited (30th).

Other 2022 Best Global Universities Rankings聽outcomes for the University included being first in regional research reputation for agricultural sciences and space sciences, sixth in total citations for endocrinology and metabolism, ninth in international collaboration for electrical and electronic engineering and tenth in clinical medicine total citations. 聽

The University鈥檚 performance in major rankings this year include THE Impact Rankings听(2^nd聽in world, 1^st聽in Australia for a second year),聽QS World University Rankings聽(up two places to 38^th in the world) and聽ARWU Rankings聽(up five places to 69^th in the world).聽

In the latest QS employability rankings the University ranks fourth聽in the world, placing it ahead of institutions such as Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge. In the same rankings we again ranked number one for graduate employability in Australia, a position held for the past six QS Graduate Employability rankings.
