Biology students can gain practical experience in one of our many field sites, including听One Tree Island听in the Great Barrier Reef, depending on which study area you choose. Students can also work with听听staff, facilities and animals, and do research with partners, such as the CSIRO and the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney.
You can choose specialist biology degrees, or undertake a biology-related major, minor, or electives within one of our other degrees.
Transitioning from learning theory at university to sitting in the lab and learning how to cut histology slides or perform triglyceride assays has been a completely different and rewarding experience.
