Over the past five years, international enrolments have driven rapid growth in the University of Sydney Business School鈥檚 population, which now stand at around 14,000 students.

鈥淭here is no need for students to apply for a new International Scholarships,鈥 Professor Shields explained. 鈥淲e are targeting international students who have received a firm offer to commence their study and we are allocating scholarships based on academic merit.

Around 30 international scholarships have been offered to 鈥渆lite鈥 students so far and Professor Shields says the acceptance rate has been one hundred percent.
鈥淲e welcome international students because we are a global business school,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e also recognise that there is a growing appetite in many of our target markets for high-quality tertiary education and we are keen to increase our profile in the region.鈥
Professor Shields said that Business School鈥檚 International Scholarships will eventually be offered beyond the Asian region.
