The聽University聽advanced聽three聽spots internationally聽on last year听补苍诲听maintained聽its ranking in the top two聽universities in Australia.
The jump follows the University鈥檚 recent聽improvements聽in the聽,听听补苍诲听, all of which use slightly different criteria and weighting.

Over the past seven years the University of Sydney has invested more than $1.5 billion in multidisciplinary research initiatives that bring together聽leading聽research teams to focus on some of the world鈥檚 biggest challenges 鈥� from finding new treatments and preventions for obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease to creating next-generation nanoscale devices.
Established in 2014, the聽are designed to provide insights into how universities compare globally听补苍诲听assist prospective聽students聽with聽exploring聽their聽options.
The rankings use聽Clarivate Analytics聽InCites聽to rank the top 1,250 institutions globally聽and focus on聽global research performance聽indicators聽such as聽reputation, publications, books, conferences, international collaborations聽and citations.
Harvard University once again ranked as the top institution globally.
