The University of Sydney has been ranked in the top 50 universities in the world for the 14th year in a row.
The , released today, placed the University at 50th in the world. The University has ranked in the top 50 every year since the QS Rankings started in 2004.
While the University鈥檚 faculty-student ratio score decreased, it earned strong scores in its reputation with employers and academics.
In fact, academics around the world viewed Sydney鈥檚 research and teaching so highly, it ranked 25 in the world in the academic reputation indicator.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Duncan Ivison said the rankings placed the University in the top one percent of universities in the world for yet another year.

QS ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)聽as the best university, followed by Stanford聽and聽Harvard.
