Across the University, applications are still open for equity scholarships, honours scholarships, travel and exchange scholarships and research scholarships 鈥� and that鈥檚 only a selection of what鈥檚 on offer.

In fact, every year, we provide more than聽worth more than $84 million, and that doesn鈥檛 include prizes or college and sporting scholarships.

They鈥檙e funded through philanthropy, by individual faculties, the federal government, and the University itself.

Many also provide scholarships, awards and prizes to their most talented and hardest-working students.

How to get a scholarship

Scholarships for undergraduate students

Undergraduate scholarships generally range from $2000 for a single year to $60,000 for the duration of a degree. There are also cash prizes and awards including certificates, internship opportunities, travel funding, books, and vouchers.

Our domestic undergraduate scholarships are available to a wide cohort of students, whether you are a high achiever or have suffered challenges in your schooling, and include:

• Merit scholarships are available to anyone who achieves an excellent ATAR.
• Equity scholarships are for high-achieving students who have faced significant challenges: financial, medical or disability issues, refugee status, or have come from a rural area.

There are also scholarships specifically for聽聽people (such as the聽), mature-age students, elite athletes and performers, and .

Scholarships for postgraduate students

For postgraduate research students, we offer a number of research awards and top-up schemes in addition to the聽聽(for domestic students) and聽 (for international research students).

Fees for eligible domestic postgraduate research students may be waived as part of the聽. You can apply for our聽聽to contribute towards travel for study or research, living costs and other expenses.
