New major student exchange agreement struck with the University of Copenhagen
In June, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Registrar) Tyrone Carlin signed a super partnership agreement with the University of Copenhagen to allow up to 50 students to go on exchange programs each year.
The partnership between Denmark鈥檚 oldest university and Australia鈥檚 oldest University is valid for five years with the opportunity to extend.
The agreement co-signed with Associate Dean Lykke Friis of the University of Copenhagen is the first super student exchange agreement the University has entered into with another university and will be open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students interesting in studying abroad.
As part of the agreement, the two universities will host several meetings, with a cross-faculty delegation from the University of Copenhagen arriving Sydney in November.
