Professor John Walsh AO (1950-2024), was one of the architects of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
He was an appointed professor at the University of Sydney and an honorary fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Professor Walsh applied his expertise in actuarial science to many research projects, particularly in policy development in disability and rehabilitation.
Our centre is named in honour of Professor Walsh.
