Our twenty-one scholarships聽for domestic and international students recognise potential, assist those in need and reward high achievement across our undergraduate, juris doctor, postgraduate, postgraduate research and Oxford partnership programs.

Commenting on the value of a postgraduate scholarship, Ross Waite Parsons Scholarship awardee Jaison K John said: 鈥淎s an international student from India, the scholarship provided me with the financial support to pursue the Master of Laws program at the University of Sydney.

鈥淭he program was taught by world-class experts, which enabled me to think globally and not just locally. I鈥檓 now working in the legal department at ACWA Power, contributing to various exciting projects, including the world鈥檚 largest concentrated solar power project in Dubai.鈥�

Sydney Law School鈥檚 scholarships offer you the financial freedom to focus on your study and other commitments. Scholarships range in value from $1,000 to support internships to up to $87,500 to support PhD study.

For Juris Doctor graduate, Elizabeth Toriola, the聽Wigram Allen JD Scholarship helped take the financial pressure off her degree. 鈥淒uring busy exam and clerkship periods, I was able to reduce my work load and not have to stress about expenses,鈥� she said.

German national and recipient of the Ross Waite Parsons Scholarship, Stephanie Classmann, was offered a position as a sessional lecturer in Criminal Law and Legal Research at the Sydney Law School after finishing the Master of Laws program.

鈥淭eaching and researching at a world-class university so early on in my career was聽a deeply rewarding experience聽which considerably reinforced聽my academic aspirations and聽provided an聽invaluable source of聽support and training in this regard. I am now undertaking a PhD in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science,鈥� said Stephanie.
