Celebrating the academic achievements of our students

We’d like to warmly congratulate all of our 2017 prize winners.Ìý

On 25 May 2017, Sydney Law School held its annual Prize Giving Ceremony to celebrate the academic achievements of its outstanding students.

More than 250 attendees, including prize winners and their families as well as faculty staff, gathered in the Law School Auditorium to witness the awarding of the prizes, and MC, ProfessorÌý, announced prizes for over 80 students present on the night.

The Dean and Head of School, ProfessorÌýÌýgratefully acknowledged the efforts of our students and expressed the Law School's gratitude for the invaluable support of the community and the profession, and warmly thanked all prize and scholarship donors for their continuing support.

The University Medallist for Law, Daniel Farinha, gave a student address at the ceremony, a recording of which can be found on the Law School's podcast page.

Following the ceremony prize winners joined their families for a celebratory cocktail function, a special celebration in advance of their graduation on 26 May.
