Working with our key partners, , Fiji National University’s  and Edith Cowan University’s , our project  is a collaborative, research-to-action approach that is working within watershed units to reduce risk of water-related disease and improve downstream ecosystem health.
WISH Fiji is designed to reduce risks to people from Fiji’s three plagues (leptospirosis, typhoid, and dengue), as well as other diarrheal disease (collectively ‘LTDDs’), by improving overall systems health, which provides co-benefits for downstream ecosystems.Â
Our WISH program approach is expanding into Papua New Guinea and the Solomons with the support of the  and the Australian Government’s .

±Ê°ù´Ç´Ú±ð²õ²õ´Ç°ùÌýJoel Negin's research focuses on health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income countries and he has worked extensively in Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. He is Sydney ID's Global Health - Pacific Lead.
¶Ù°ùÌýAaron Jenkins is an eco-epidemiologist focussing on building applied interdisciplinary understanding of the ecological foundations of health to guide global sustainability. Aaron has a globally recognised specialty in Pacific aquatic ecosystems, water-related infectious diseases, and is Sydney ID's Pacific Planetary Health Hub Lead.Â
