Bachelor of Engineering Honours with Space
What you鈥檒l study
The Bachelor of Engineering Honours with Space covers all space-related activities, from ground operations to the design and construction of orbital bodies and explorative spacecraft.
The study of Space is available to students in the Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering streams.
You will complete foundational core units in mathematics and computing, along with a suite of multidisciplinary project units. You will also complete stream core and specialist elective units in your chosen stream, and can choose to complete an optional specialisation (where available) within your chosen stream.
Additionally, you will complete elective units as needed to make up the requirements of the course from either the Engineering disciplinary pool or the shared pool. In your final year, you will complete an honours thesis in your chosen stream.
Throughout your degree, you will undertake professional engagement activities as part of the Professional Engagement Program, including engineering work experience in the final year.

The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Aeronautical Engineering with Space) has Conditional Full Accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer with the national accreditation body, Engineers Australia, and graduates are recognised internationally through the .
The following streams have Conditional Provisional Accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer and are recognised by the national accreditation body, Engineers Australia, and not through the Accord: the Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechanical Engineering with Space) and Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechatronic Engineering with Space).
