We conduct research in areas of pharmacy practice (including medicines) that are important to, and with the involvement of, First Nations people. We strive to ensure that research being done for or about First Nations people is done with or by First Nations people, to maximise health outcomes and produce culturally responsive health care professionals. The listed people are experts in their area of pharmacy research. For any research that focusses on First Nations people, we work together with First Nations people, who are experts in their own right.

Our medication safety research aims to develop evidence-based practices and models of care, ensuring that they are adopted, sustained, and provide the intended benefits to our patients across real-world settings. Our projects are focussed on high priority populations including older adults and individuals living in remote and rural regions to improve their health care journeys.

¸ßÇ帣ÀûƬ aims to generate evidence on how pharmacists can contribute to the understanding, treatment, management, and improvement of mental health conditions.

We conduct research to generate foundational evidence on how drugs work, and to better understand the formulation, and delivery of drugs to create safe and effective products.

¸ßÇ帣ÀûƬ uses pharmacokinetic–pharmacodynamic principles to quantify sources of variability in drug response between people with the aim of optimising drug therapy. Our members have expertise in non-linear mixed effects modelling, Bayesian dose forecasting, therapeutic drug monitoring, physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modelling (PBPK) and quantitative systems pharmacology.
