The two week , supported by a grant from the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, will run early next year from January to February 2020.

"The Philippines program offers students a cultural and responsible business immersion experience in one of Southeast Asia's fastest emerging markets," said Dr Steven Hitchcock, Lecturer in Work-Integrated Learning.

"Students will visit several social enterprise companies, innovation hubs and communities in and around the capital, Manila, and an agri-business farm in Zambales," Dr Hitchcock said. "They will have an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and earn credit points towards their degree."

"These are wonderful opportunities for the students to experience the rich culture, history, anthropology and evolution of modern India or one of Southeast Asia鈥檚 most dynamic economies," he said.

Dr Hitchcock went on to say that the Philippines tour would suit students "ready to build on their skills and gain insights that will enhance their international business acumen."
